Some nice Don Heck artwork here from just on the edge of the Marvel Age of Comics. Soon he would be stuck drawing superheroes most of the time--not his strong suit.
Besides types of assignments, lots of different things seem to come into play during a guy's career. Indifferent colorists and the four-color process in general were never advantageous to Heck's sketchy, nuanced style.
