Ogden Whitney, perhaps best remembered for the cult favorite that is HERBIE, drew SKYMAN in BIG SHOT COMICS for several years. This appearance in which a Bogart doppelganger figures prominently in the plot along with a variation on National's painfully recalled Percival Popp, the Super Cop (from THE SPECTRE of all things!) is from a late 1948 issue dated January of 1949.
