The Shark-Stars & Stripes-1941

The Shark was a fairly long-running character from Centaur comics, here just an issue away from his retirement. The impressive art here is from the character's creator, Lew Glanzman. Glanzman went on to be a successful illustrator of children's books, celebrity portraits, a successful and well-respected painter and is apparently still with us today!
