There have, of course, been many successful military sitcoms from SGT BILKO to GOMER PYLE, USMC to M*A*S*H. In the comics, however, military humor beyond SAD SACK and BEETLE BAILEY has been less successful. That's never stopped them from trying, though. Here's WINNIE THE WAC with some nice cartooning from '54.
