Yarko the Great-Bob Powell-1939

Bob Powell drew Mr. Mystic for Will Eisner's SPIRIT section beginning in 1940 but it's easy to see that the pair got the idea for the character--hardly an original one anyway--from this strip a year earlier, drawn by Powell and reportedly written by Eisner. But seriously. "Yarko??" I think I see why they changed it.
