Tommy Tomorrow-Curt Swan-1949

Here's another early Tommy adventure, this one being a cute conceit in which our hero travels from his present of 1989 (!!) to the time the comic was published, 1949, and then back again. His present, of course, was their future and, now, OUR past. My head hurts. Too much timey-wimey.

I really appreciate seeing this stuff. Tommy Tomorrow is one of my favorites of that genre, I don't get to see enough of him. This story was on the tail end of the golden age. It was truly transitional. The Flash Gordon 30's sci fin influences are still really pronounced. In this early day he looks a lot like Lars of Mars (Ziff Davis publisher). Actually looking it up TT came first.

Thank you so much. Tommy is always my unspoken fun of comics.
