Little Al of the Secret Service-Mike Roy-1955

In the seventies when researching comics creators was new, artist Mike Roy, a veteran of the Caniff "school," was often confused with artist and Kirby's chosen inker Mike RoyER--no relation.

I know that Little Al had his own title at Ziff-Davis, but wasn't "Scotland Yard" a Charlton book?

Yes. Al was apparently one of the properties Charlton picked up from the various other comics companies that were going out of business in the mid-fifties.
