The Cartoonist at Home-Joe Kubert-1969 R. I. P.

Word comes today of the passing of the legendary artist/editor/teacher Joe Kubert, about whom much can and undoubtedly will be written and said in days to come. Here's a little-known biographical humor piece in the otherwise all-reprint version of the Kubert issue of DC SPECIAL from 1969.

REST IN PEACE, sir. And thank you for everything.

I remember this...have it in a back issue somewhere...Showcase maybe? Anyway... I attended JKS and Joe was my teacher during my second year.... I cherish those times. He was an inspiration to millions for 7 decades. He will never be forgotten and will always live on in our hearts.
