Captain Midnight On the Planet of Peril-1947

The art style her eis familiar and I like it but I can't identify it and GCD doesn't even hazard a guess. Still, a fun space opera story with the famed radio/TV/comics pilot hero and his sidekick Ichabod Mudd.
