Ace's Black Spider, from SUPER-MYSTERY COMICS, was a combination of the Shadow and the Spirit. He was a nattily dressed hero with a spider-logo cape and a mask. He also tended to carry "trained" spiders in a secret compartment in his belt as he secretly fought crime away from his day job as a District Attorney!
