It's one of the oddities of MLJ Comics that TOP-NOTCH became TOP-NOTCH LAUGH but TOP-NOTCH LAUGH did NOT become just plain LAUGH. No, TOP-NOTCH LAUGH became LAUGH COMIX for three issues but then became SUZIE! It was BLACK HOOD that morphed into the long-running LAUGH!
