Now It Can Be Told-Top Secrets-1948


This one has some of the most interesting art I've seen in a while. Note that I said "interesting." It isn't bad. It's just...kinda weird, with certain characters looking like caricatures and others looking ultra-realistic.

After the attempt to steal Lincoln's body, the coffin was buried within a box within a steel cage, anchored by concrete to a boulder. But, before that was done, a check was made (despite the wishes of Lincoln's son) to ensure that Lincoln's remains were still in the coffin. A boy was amongst those present for the opening of the coffin, and he lived into my lifetime (and into yours, Steve); he was, in some sense, probably the last living person to have seen Lincoln.
