Star Pirate-George Appel-1943


George Appel worked his way through many of the shops of the 1940s, providing pencils and inks for all types of stories at all types of comics companies. Here's some typical PLANET space opera. Eventually, he went into advertising.

This story was written as if Frank Buck would be well remembered in the far future. In the event, he's already largely forgotten.
