You're Hired-Will Eisner-1969

Ah, nostalgia. Back when the economy worked. This hip, happenin' little booklet offers another example of what the Master was up to between THE SPIRIT and the return of THE SPIRIT. Definitely some assistants on here in spots (Mike Ploog maybe?) but still Eisner at his educational best at heart.

God, i miss the past. Please let me go back to the 60s. That little world was so great. Things were just modern enough you didn't have to be a druge and just primitive enough not to overly complex. You want to go someplace, get on a plane and go. What to live someplace rent an apartment, no one cares who you are or where you lived before.

Get a little job, make a little money, by comic books.

I remember the '60s somewhat differently, though indeed some things were better then.

I know. I looked back my gushing sentimentality and thought "I wish it had been like that." That comic book, the work place, we are partners with industry? I wish someone had explained that to the people I worked for in the 60s! You know Neuralgia is a pair of rose colored lenses.
