Chilly Willy-Fred Abranz-1956

It's actually a little warmer here today for us but I hear that elsewhere the cold is still a factor so many of you can relate. Art here is by Fred Abranz who started out as an animator in the late 1930s and ended his long career as an animator in the early 1980s.

  1. The idea of gophers showing-up in Antarctica just at a point where someone began a garden is pretty good; and the idea that the scheme of pretending thus should arise independently of a trader having gopher suits and yet that he should indeed happen to have gopher suits in Antarctica is pretty funny. Unfortunately, the concluding twist is barely a quarter-turn.
