Action Unlimited-Mort Leav-1950

Here we see Anthony Action, a quasi-combination of THE SPIRIT and Quality's square-jawed KEN SHANNON, written by the prolific Bill Woolfolk and drawn by Mort Leav, whose work we've run here before. Leav's place in comics history is as the artist on THE HEAP, precursor to so many comic book swamp creatures heroes.

I really liked Lila's reply in 2:6. (Too bad that Lila is too old for me and, well, fictitious.)

In fact, I enjoyed pretty much the whole telling of the episode except for the use of “inevitable” in the narration for the final panel.
