The Spirit-Will Eisner-1946/1950

From his backup spot in POLICE COMICS, here's a fairly typical, nearly Spirit-less SPIRIT story that's fun and funny and, as always with Eisner, well-told all around. If one still feels the need for an apology for Ebony White, consider it given, but Ebony was at his best the true heart of some of the most memorable SPIRIT tales in spite of his unfortunately drawn appearance.
