Between all of the thousands of TARZAN pages turned out by Jesse Marsh for Dell, the artist found time to do some BUCK JONES stories in the early fifties. The fact that Jones--a cowboy star in pictures since 1918--had been one of the 492 victims of the tragic Cocoanut Grove nightclub fire a decade earlier didn't stop him from being one of the stalwart screen cowboys adapted to comics during the western boom.
