The Man Who Owned the World-Tom Sutton-1970

Sure, Charlton let him go to town with some pretty wild stuff just a few years later, but Marvel wasn't exactly keeping a tight reign on the wild art of Tom Sutton, either!

And the main character here seems surprisingly recognizable from the day's news.

I vaguely remember encountering this story as a teen. At that age, I hadn't heard of the 1955 Orson Welles film, Mr. Arkadin, where Welles played a character named Gregory Arkadin. Not bad; Sutton only changed one letter in the name.

Have (the remains) of a late 60's (Marvel) comic with "Mr. Craven Buys His Scream House" by Mr. Sutton...

One of my favorite journeymen. Deserved a much better career (and probably life) than he had. But he sure loved the funnies.
