The Angel-Gustav Schrotter-1942

This one's rather unusual in that it's a long and fairly complex tale from a period where that was anything but the norm. Our hero barely even appears in his costume until the very end. Gus Schrotter did the art. He went on to be a children's book illustrator.

I, for one, appreciate the realism of having Our Hero hurting from landing a even a glancing blow to the head of the Villain.
