Li'L Abner-Al Capp-1965-1966

Here's a brief but amusing Sunday sequence (sadly not in color) from the period where ABNER was starting to lose its edge and Capp was listing to the right. Cameos from Jack Benny, Red Skelton, and Bob Hope. Not sure who was doing the art for Capp in this period, but he was very smooth with quite an attractive style. Bob Lubbers, maybe?

I think Hudson & Landry swiped the series' capper for their skit "The Prospectors" (a.k.a. "I couldn't Live That Way")
