Captain Wonder-Frank Giacoia-1943

By request and a very weird coincidence, here's Captain Wonder by Frank Giacoia. Frank maintains today a reputation as one of THE great inkers of his day, particularly on Jack Kirby. One can see Kirby's influence on him here in these early pencils as well. My favorite of his work is his syndicated Sherlock Holmes strip.

Golden age was a time of neat simple tales, simple motivation....and uncertain power levels. A neat tale, with great art...thanks!
