According to cartoonist and cat lover Roberta Gregory, today is Black cat Appreciation Day. Well we certainly appreciate The Black Cat around here, especially when her adventures are drawn, as they usually were, by Lee Elias. Here we have the 1951 story where she gets her mandatory kid sidekick, The Black Kitten. Seriously.
