The White Rider and His Super Horse-1940

This character--a Lone Ranger variant--poked around for a decade or more at a couple different publishers and himself may have inspired the original Ghost Rider and maybe even marvel's Black Rider. This is his debut.

As a kid I was a big fan of the late 1950s Hanna-Barbera cartoon, Ruff and Reddy. I wonder if maybe Hanna and Barbera were fans of this late 1940s comic strip? Not that there's anything in common but the name. And it's from EC Comics, yet!
