The Owl-Frank Thomas-1942

Not the Prize Comics Owl, this one is, in fact, the one that Gold Key tentatively revived in Jerry Siegel's ersatz Marvel style in the 1960s.

You know I was thinking Nick--and by extension, the writer--were being sexists dicks in their treatment of Belle, but at least the writer gave Nick a proper comeuppance for it. That being said, I'd say this was a well-done, attractive story, and I am not such an indulgent fan of the golden age superheroes in general, either. I'd be interested in seeing more of this if you had it.

Oh, and don't forget the Owl later had a bizarro, though strangely effective, crossover with Dr. Spektor.
