As far as I know there never was a Hector cartoon series in spite of that copyright to Famous Studios. Still, some minor cartoonish fun to be had here from ex-animator Grossman, probably best known for Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer from DC.
Hector appeared in three cartoons - "The Henpecked Rooster" (1944), "Scrappily Married" (1945), and "Sudden Fried Chicken" (1946). He goes by Henry in the first two shorts.
In all those cartoons, the mouse the scared Henry's wife was Herman-and he was even called that in the first cartoon. (This was definitely before Herman met Katnip.)
