The Dead End Kids-Lafe Thomas-1941

We had requests a while back for another Dead End Kids story and I really didn't know if there were any. Then I ran across this one so here you are. It's an odd art style but all the "kids" are recognizable--Billy Halop, Leo Gorcey, Huntz Hall, Bobby Jordan, Gabe Dell and even the often forgotten Bernard Punsley. This time out we even get a Bogart-type character!

Like the work of H[olly] Chambers, this stuff reminds me of some of the “underground” comics of the '70s.

(I don't mean to suggest that this work and the work by Chambers look alike — they surely don't!)
