As much an early horror comics story as a superhero story, note the name of Fawcett editor Wendell Crowley on one of the tombstones in the cemetery and artist "Thompson" (no relation) throughout.

Thanks for posting a story by this much underappreciated artist. I've liked his stuff since I first saw it in DC's SHAZAM in the 1970s.
