We've had a request for more funny animals so I tried to find one most people might not have seen or even heard of before, this from Lev Gleason's company. 

The Antenna Brothers-Al Brown-1923

When one thinks of old time radio, one thinks of the 1930s through the 1950s. It was the 1920s, though, where radio became a craze like no other! Here from early issues of RADIO DIGEST, we have a radio-centric comic strip. I confess to not even GETTING much of the specific gags herein, but I do like the cartooning. Apologies for one stereotypes in this very specialized, historic strip.

No idea who to credit here but some delightful cartooning.

Any Bonds Today-Radio's Biggest Stars-1945

I'm not sure WHAT these are, actually. In 1945, the US had the 7th War Loan and a number of newspapers ran one or more of these cartoons promoting war bond sales in conjunction with it. The thing is, they're all credited to the likes of Jack Benny, Bing Crosby, and Fibber McGee and Molly! Drawn by various gag panel cartoonists, I wonder how much the stars actually had to do with these mostly unfunny cartoons.

A great early Kubert splash starts off this brief, stylized tale of Detective Bill Bogard!

The Scrambler-Pete Costanza (?)-1958

GCD doesn't list an artist for this but it sure looks to me like Pete Costanza was involved in one way or another, either pencils, inks, or both.
