Krazy Kat-1951-1952


I've always been fascinated by this majorly off-model series. Even the cartoon series of a decade later, in spite of its low budget, looked more familiar to old time fans than this run did.

Thanks for sharing these. I've never seen this era of Krazy Kat. It's kind of like Krazy for the Tom And Jerry audience. There's a twist of quirky dialogue to vaguely suggest George Herriman's wordplay along with an angular visual or two to suggest the original art. It's entertaining in its own way, but is proof that the great George Herriman existed in his own universe....any attempt to revive his characters by others is going to seem generic.
