Syd Hoff would, in time, be remembered as a beloved children's book author and illustrator but in the beginning, he was a cartoonist, offering up this syndicated variant on LITTLE LULU, as here collected in a short-lived comic book in 1950.
Thank you for your post about Tuffy, which Syd created as a daily comic strip 1939. It was published by Hearst Publications and appeared in more than 800 newspapers worldwide for over a decade. As Syd's niece, and creator of www.SydHoff.org, it is always a delight when others share a bit about his contributions as a cartoonist, illustrator and author.

Third and fourth page are in reverse order. Enjoyed it, otherwise.
