Normally "hip" and "DC"did not fit together very well. This short-ived series, FLOWERS, however, was the exception to the role as it was genuinely hip, groovy and turned on. It also had some of the more outrageous artwork for a mainstream comic book company at that time...especially DC! Artist Phil Mendez went on to create KISSYFUR and FOOFUR but try not to hold that against him.
