THe Man From S.R.A.M.-Carl Pfeufer-1966

Here's an amusing little sci-fi tale from 1966, when absolutely everything was anagramed (go ask your U.N.C.L.E.). This comes from Harvey's JIGSAW # 2 and is credited on GCD to Golden Age artist Carl Pfeufer, perhaps best known for his work on Timely's SUB-MARINER after BIll Everett originally left that strip. Pfeufer was also a fixture at Fawcett back in the day where he undoubtedly worked with Otto Binder, credited with writing this particular tale. The story itself is purely a rip-off of DC's early MARTIAN MANHUNTER tales as you have a martian on earth, disguised as a human, solving crimes.

  1. Carl Pfeuffer also drew TOD HOLTON SUPER GREEN BERET in those days, such an odd comic book i asume you have seen them.
