Bernard Dibble was a staff artist at United Features who never made it big despite ghosting, assisting, and occasionally even getting credited on some major strips like THE CAPTAIN & THE KIDS and FRITZI RITZ. He did some humor work in comic books, too, and I always enjoy his work. By the end of the 1950s, he had left the field entirely.
