American Crusader-Max Plaisted-1942


Hard to believe it's been five whole years since we last checked in with the American Crusader! Artist Plaisted was pretty good and stayed in the industry under various names for about 25 years. He's even credited as drawing BLACKHAWK at one time.

    Max Plaistow also drew the somewhat risqué DIANA DAW strip in the SPICY ADVENATURE pulps for Trojan Publications, and was a ghost artist on Adopted Barreaux's SALLY THE SOUTH in SPICY DETECTIVE.
