Some splendid Wood-like work here from Sid Check! In the seventies, Wood tried to bring Check back into comics buy getting him to pencil a Charlton story that he, Wood, would ink. But everyone involved felt the delivered work wasn't up to even Charlton's standards. Tom Sutton was brought in for a quick redraw of the whole piece and Wood was credited only with a story credit. Sid never worked in comics again.
