The Queer Case of the Cracker Crumbs-Basil Wolverton-1942

For those of you who appreciate the wonderful, punny, unique and instantly recognizable writing style of the world's looniest cartoonist, here's a rare opportunity to enjoy that silliness sans visuals! Note also the word "Crumbs" in the title, minorly amusing since Wolverton was one of many obvious influences on Robert Crumb and his brother Charles when they began their own self-published comics. One has to wonder if they read this issue of JOKER COMICS. Quite possibly seeing their name in print may have inspired them.
