Professor Putter-Pete Alvarado-1962


Pete Alvarado was a legendary animator for Warners, Depatie-Freleng and Hanna-Barbera but he also did lots of comics, both newspapers and strips. This very cartoon-like strip was a back-up in THE THREE STOOGES comic.

    Great post. I especially like Alvarado's backgrounds that are simple but effective in creating a believable setting.
