Doctor Droom-Jack Kirby/Dick Ayers-1961


I know we just ran a Kirby/Ayers but hey, you can never have too much of a good thing. And besides, this is one of the pre-FF Doctor Droom (later renamed Dr, Druid) stories.

    Fun little tale, though the stakes weren't that great, ol' pseudo Dr. Druid sailed through this battle.

    I swear next time I walk in the door of my house I'm going to monologue to nobody about my plans for the day!

    Some great art, the splash is well staged, the alien is a cool look, and if the bottom of page 4 isn't the most Kirby-ish thing ever!
