Perhaps inspired by the great success of the 1941 film, HERE COMES MR. JORDAN in which a man is killed before his time and, with some angelic help, tries on the bodies of others as they pass. The series ran for quite a while. The movie was remade in the seventies as HEAVEN CAN WAIT.

Which comic is this from? This is a pretty cool story, with equally cool art. Holmdale's kind of underappreciated for me.
